Welcome to the Bridge bar

Our bar is located on the banks of the Mekong in Nong Khai (หนองคาย), northeastern Thailand (Isaan). Nong Khai is a major access point to and from Laos over the Friendship Bridge just out of town. Vientiane lies just 25km upriver.

We pride ourselves in cold drinks, good music, strange conversation, and kitsch lighting.

Our customers include local farangs, Nong Khai locals, visiting Laotians, the odd tourist, and the occasional non-odd tourist.

The Bridge is located on Rimkhong road, 500m east of Thasadej market. It’s surrounded by Thai restaurants, juice bars, and wats. Ask a tuk-tuk for Suki Vientiane restaurant on the Rimkhong. We’re 30 seconds walk from there. Download our map.

We have the usual selection of beers, spirits, fine steaks, wireless internet, good company, plus a range of small fluffy toys for 50 baht each. More details here.
